A sophomore at Gotham Academy, Pomeline Fritch is descended from the Frych family of Gotham, one of the city's founding families who were friends with the old Arkham family. A believer in the occult, and well-versed in all things secret society and supernatural, Pomeline hails from a well-to-do family. At Gotham Academy, she spends most of her time trying to unearth her family's birthright - an ancient book about the founding of Gotham - while also spending time (at first reluctantly) with the Detective Club, soon coming to see the members of the group as her actual friends, solving mysteries, and trying to stop the ghosts of the past from destroying the present.
